The fourth annual DePaul Innovation Day, titled "Breaking Barriers Through Creative Collaborations," is planned for Friday, Jan. 27. All faculty, staff and graduate students are invited to RSVP for this in-person event.

The annual celebration of innovation at DePaul focuses on bringing a creative spirit to research to find unexpected partnerships and approaches to solve problems. DePaul community members will come together to present research, discuss perspectives on innovation, and make connections across disciplines.

The president and the provost will open the day with remarks, and the day will feature presentations and panels that will highlight the synergies between creative activities and technology, moving industry innovations from ideas to implementation and exploring new ways to disseminate outcomes and discoveries.

New this year

The Innovation Showcase is an opportunity to explore creative products, services and solutions developed by DePaul faculty, staff and students. Presenters from various disciplines will demonstrate in our exhibit hall how their innovations (including multimodal projects, visual art, engineering projects, cinematic productions/videos, virtual and augmented reality demonstrations, and music productions) meet today's industrial and societal needs.
