Innovation Day, DePaul's annual celebration of the creative spirit in research, focuses on cultivating unexpected partnerships and approaches to solve problems. DePaul community members come together to present their findings, discuss their perspectives on innovation and make connections across disciplines.

This year, the Jan. 27 event will feature an Innovation Showcase, highlighting projects that show how creativity in research is meeting industry and societal needs.

The selected 27 projects will be demonstrated in an open forum. Innovation Day attendees can visit their "booths" during two dedicated Innovation Showcase sessions (11:05-11:45 a.m. and 2-2:45 p.m.) and decide which one will receive DePaul’s Innovation Award. The winner will be featured on the University Research, Creative Activities, and Innovation website. More information on the showcase projects is online.

To secure your spot at Innovation Day, make sure to RSVP by Friday, Jan. 20. This event will be held at the Student Center on the Lincoln Park campus, Room 120 A/B, and it is sponsored and organized by the Office of the Provost, the Office of Research Services, and the Office of Academic Events.
