On Sunday, Jan. 22, DePaul University will celebrate a Lunar New Year Gala for the 15th time, ringing in the Year of the Rabbit with festive food and engaging performances.

The family-friendly event is free and open to the public, making it a great opportunity to network with new and old friends who celebrate the Lunar New Year. This is a great opportunity to sport red, festive clothing for the occasion. All DePaul students, alumni, faculty, staff, as well as family and friends, are welcome to attend.

Check-in at the Lincoln Park Student Center, Rooms 120 A&B, begins at 2:30 p.m., and a lion dance will kick things off at 3 p.m. Attendees born in a Year of the Rabbit (2011, 1999, 1987, 1975, 1963, 1951, 1939) will have an opportunity to win a special Year of the Rabbit gift.

Gala organizers include the DePaul Chinese Studies Program, the DePaul Chinese Studies Association, and the DePaul Chinese Students and Scholars Association.

Don't miss the fun. RSVP online today.
