U.S. News also places DePaul among the best. The School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) offers an online bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, which U.S. News ranks 8th, up 15 spots from last year. DePaul’s online bachelor’s degree in Psychology places in the top 25. School of Computing online information technology master’s degrees rank 69th.
SCPS is meeting ‘the needs of today’s learners’ online
Overall, DePaul’s
online programs—with a focus on the offerings within the School of Continuing and Professional Studies—placed 84th in the country out of 350 ranked sets of programs nationwide. The
Business Administration program rising into the top 10 is a cause for celebration.

Psychology holds steady in the top 25
The
psychology program in the College of Science and Health came in at 25th on U.S. News and offers two concentrations, standard and human development. Psychology faculty and instructors teach the online courses just as they do for courses on campus.
"For over 15 years, our Psychology faculty have been dedicated to implementing best practices and innovative course design to create a high-quality online learning experience,” says professor and interim chair Ruben Parra. “We recognize online learners as full members of our psychology community and strive to support their unique needs while fostering engagement and connection. Our online courses are taught by the same expert faculty as our in-person classes, ensuring the same rigorous standards and academic excellence."
School of Computing master’s degrees help students meet ‘tech career goals’
U.S. News places DePaul’s online master’s programs at
69th nationally. The School of Computing has offered
online degrees for more than two decades. These degrees focus on preparing tech graduates to meet the needs of organizations.
“The School of Computing is committed to making careers in tech accessible to all,” says Ljubomir Perkovic, professor and director of the school. “Our master’s degrees have onramps for students with any undergraduate major. They are offered in-person and online and now also in Flex, allowing students to decide on any given day how to attend class. Most importantly, they are high quality programs that get graduates to their tech career goals.”
