Last month, DePaul's esports team took home its first national championship title. The Blue Demons won the 2022 Electronic Gaming Federation National Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Championship, which took place at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.In addition to the CS:GO squad's success, DePaul's Smash and Rocket League teams also made appearances during the tournament. The Smash team placed third and Rocket League came in eighth.
