Blue Demons take home first esports national title

Last month, DePaul's esports team took home its first national championship title. The Blue Demons won the 2022 Electronic Gaming Federation National Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Championship, which took place at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.

In addition to the CS:GO squad's success, DePaul's Smash and Rocket League teams also made appearances during the tournament. The Smash team placed third and Rocket League came in eighth.
