The fall 2022 League of Legends BIG EAST Championship concluded this month with DePaul capturing its third BIG EAST League of Legends title in four seasons.
Entering the event as the No. 1 seed, the Blue Demons came from behind to top No. 2 seed St. John’s and earn the 2-1 victory. Overall, DePaul capped the fall season with a 9-1 (7-1 BIG EAST) mark, while St. John’s finished 8-2 (7-1 BIG EAST).
The full 2022 fall slate consisted of a best-of-three round robin, with each team playing each other team once. After seven weeks and 36 completed regular-season matches, the top-four positions in the league standings were solidified on Nov. 12, with DePaul being crowned champions on Dec. 4.
