​​The Operations team administers DWN's business affairs, which include budget management, performance assessment, and administrative operations. The team manages DWN's workflow, assists with coordinating event logistics, provides budget and data analysis, and interprets and applies university policies and procedures for action within DWN.

Desired Qualifications for Director of Operations

  • Experience in budget management
  • Knowledge of university policies and procedures, particularly around financial/budgetary processes
  • Experience and/or interest in assessment
  • Ability to perform complex data collection and analysis and prepare reports
  • Gain experience managing and leading a team and medium- to large-scale projects

Team Member Core Responsibilities

  • Design tools and methods to track, report and document DWN performance
  • Manage DWN's budget, administrative operations and procedures
  • Assist team director with assessment projects, which includes survey creation and data collection/analysis, as needed​
  • Assist other teams with event planning support, as needed

Director and Team Member Opportunities

  • Develop assessment and budget management experience
  • Perform data collection and analysis and provide recommendations to improve DWN performance based on findings
  • Develop survey creation experience (use/learn Qualtrics)
Time commitment per month varies based on projects. Directors meet monthly with DWN leadership.
