Day one of Premiere DePaul, or orientation, begins with a warm welcome from university officials followed by opportunities to explore DePaul. You’ll learn about the college you are entering and DePaul’s university-wide liberal studies program. You’ll attend special interest sessions that discuss university resources and new student opportunities. Current DePaul students will lead activities to introduce you to the university; you’ll also have the chance to ask questions in small-group discussions. That evening, you’ll get a taste of college life by spending the night in a co-ed residence hall on the Lincoln Park Campus. You’ll be randomly assigned same-sex roommates. It’s a great way to get to know the DePaul community and some of your future classmates.
On day two you’ll meet with an academic advisor and register for courses. At the conclusion of Premiere DePaul, you’ll wish classes were starting the next day.
