FYAS is here to support you throughout the summer and winter sessions and throughout your first year at DePaul with the following resources:
FYAS Support
Throughout the academic year, our office supports FYAS participants by:
- Discussing student degree progress
- Determining a plan for academic success through one-on-one meetings with staff
- Sharing quarterly connections to DePaul resources through presentations and social media

Success Series
The FYAS Success Series gives students the opportunity to learn about DePaul support resources. The series covers key topics like financial aid, course expectations, academic success tips from current students, and more. Content is designed to increase awareness of DePaul resources and ease the transition into university life.
Success Series content will be shared with students throughout the 5-week session.
Tutoring
Tutoring is offered at designated times throughout each summer session on a drop-in basis. Tutoring is available for all FYAS classes.
