Holiday Acts of Loving Kindness: Sharing gratitude to our first responders

Acts of Loving Kindness
Holiday trees are popping up in homes across the city and country. Bright lights are twinkling throughout the long winter nights. Angels, Santas, elves, nativities, menorahs, and any imaginable holiday scene have turned lawns into festive holiday stages. The holiday season would simply not be the same without the decorations. This year we have an invitation to make our holiday decorations bring a message of joy, as well as thanks.

Take a few moments today to plan out a holiday decoration that extends a special thanks and wishes for good will to those who continue to put their lives on the line as first responders. Place a holiday sign of thanks in a window or prop it up in Santa’s hands. Position a sign amidst the holiday lights hanging from trees or your home. Let those who continue to offer healing and hope know they are remembered, deeply appreciated and heartily cheered through the holiday season and always.
