National Transfer Student Week 2018 is Oct. 15 – 19, and DePaul is celebrating. Throughout the week, the Office of Undergraduate Transfer Admission will host a number of events. From scavenger hunts to mix and mingles to a “Swag Swap,” all transfer students are invited to participate in the week honoring them and their fellow transfer peers.
Stop by the Joan Wish Welcome Center on the Loop campus between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for games, giveaways and light refreshments at events throughout the week:
Monday, Oct. 15
- Scavenger hunt competition
- Bingo card game
- Network with other transfer students
Tuesday, Oct. 16 – Transfer Admission Tuesday
- Discover DAPP presentation for prospective transfer students
- Mix and mingle with transfer ambassadors
Wednesday, Oct. 17 - #WeLoveTransfers Wednesday
- Coffee & Conversation
- Grab more swag: water bottles and pins
- Sign our mural: “Where did you transfer from?”
Thursday, Oct. 18
- Show your DePaul spirit by wearing blue
- Stop in and take a picture with DIBS, the Blue Demons mascot
- Swag Swap: bring in old college apparel to the Welcome Center and swap it for a DePaul shirt
Friday, Oct. 19
- Free cookies
- Visit the resources table to pick up materials and information to support your success toward graduation
