University Counseling Services now offers "Feel Better Fast," a weekly health and wellness workshop. The program is designed to help students identify changes they may want to make in their personal lives, identify obstacles to growth or change, improve mood, and learn skills and techniques to gain a greater sense of control over their lives.

The group meets in the Lincoln Park Student Center suite 350 each Wednesday from 3-4:00 p.m. The discussion topics and schedule repeat on a monthly basis and include:
  • Week 1:  Focusing on Values & Avenues of Change
  • Week 2:  Changing Problematic Thoughts
  • Week 3:  Managing Difficult Feelings
  • Week 4:  Improving Communication with Others
Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to attend and may join the workshops at any time.

For more information, call (773) 325-7779 to sign up for a brief phone conversation with a UCS staff member before attending a session.
