In response to concerns from the Student Government Association and other students, DePaul is adjusting the process of distributing commencement tickets to allow graduates an earlier time period in which they can try to secure additional tickets.
Next month, University Events will hold Early Ticket Pickup on both campuses for students to obtain their allotted tickets and, if they so choose, to release any tickets they know they will not use. All students are welcome to attend either pick up event.
Early Ticket Pickup
Monday, April 16
8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Lincoln Park Student Center - Atrium
2250 N. Sheffield Ave.
Tuesday, April 17
8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
DePaul Center - 11th Floor Gallery Lounge Area
1 E. Jackson Blvd.
To receive additional tickets released at these events, students will be given the opportunity to enter a lottery. Instructions for the lottery will be shared in the coming weeks.
Tickets also will be available for pick up at the Commencement Kick Off Event on June 4-7. Cap and gown pick up occurs exclusively at the Commencement Kick Off Event.
Once students have their tickets, they are highly encouraged to keep close track of them. Lost tickets will not be replaced.
