Could you use $500? Do you have a creative flair? If so, flex your creativity, support fair trade fashion and possibly put some cold cash in your pocket by entering a T-shirt design contest!

The Division of Mission and Ministry is sponsoring a T-shirt design contest for DePaul students to promote fair trade practices within the apparel industry. The winner will receive $500, and the winning design will be printed by Alta Gracia, the only collegiate apparel company that pays a living wage. The T- shirt will be sold in DePaul book stores.

To enter, develop a T-shirt with a slogan and design that speak to DePaul's core values, such as service, dignity, community and social impact. Here are some slogan suggestions:
  • Explore Your Purpose
  • Do Good. Do it Well.
  • What Must be Done?
  • Love is Inventive to Infinity
  • Dignity for All
The deadline to enter is Sunday, April 1. The winner will be announced Friday, April 20, at the campus-wide Fashion Revolution event.

More information, design parameters and how to upload your finished design are available here.
