Purpose Pitch 2018

Have an idea for a purpose driven startup in Chicago? Submit your application now for the third annual Purpose Pitch Competition. Hosted by DePaul's Coleman Entrepreneurship Center, the competition will take place May 14.  All DePaul students and alumni are invited to apply. Applications are due by Friday, April 12.

Purpose Pitch is a unique competition where startups share their greater purpose and how they plan to fulfill it through their business objective. Judges will narrow down the applications based upon the strength of the purpose and viability of the business.

The final six companies will then have five minutes to share their purpose and business viability at 1871 at an event on May 14. The final four will be recognized as "Most Purposeful Startups in Chicago," in addition to sharing $25,000 in award money for their companies.
