Cancel or Hold Membership

- Full-time undergraduate students must opt out via Campus Connect account.
- Go to navigation bar, self-service, student resources, Campus Recreation Opt Out.
- Cancellations made within the first six months of the join date are subject to a $25 cancellation fee.
- A $50 reactivation fee will be charged in place of the initiation fee if a member decides to reactivate their membership.

Cancellations received 1st - 15th of the month: memberships will terminate at the end of that month and automatic payments will stop with that month's payment.
For example, if you submit a cancellation form on March 15, your membership will be canceled on March 31.

Cancellations received 16th - end of the month: memberships will terminate at the end of the following month and you are responsible for next month's payment.
For example, if you submit a cancellation form on March 16, your membership will be canceled on April 30.

Hold requests received 1st - 15th of the month: memberships will freeze at the end of that month and automatic payments will resume on the 1st of the month you will return. We only accept prorated monthly dues in cases where a medical exception is provided.
For example, if you submit a hold request form on March 15, your membership will freeze on April 1. If you wish to return in June, your membership will be reinstated on June 1 and your automatic payment will resume.

Members freezing their account for 1 billing cycle (1 month only), no hold fee will be required.
For example, if you submit a hold request on November 15 to place your account on hold for December, and wish to resume your membership in January, then your account will freeze on December 1 and will automatically reactivate your membership on January 1. There is no administrative fee associated with this hold.

Members freezing their account for 2 or more billing cycles (2+ months at a time), a $50 hold fee will be charged to your account.
For example, if you submit a hold request on June 15 to place your account on hold for July and August and wish to resume your membership in September, then your account will freeze on July 1 and will automatically reactivate your membership on September 1. There is a $50 administrative fee associated with this hold.
