- Standard / Personal Holds
Monthly and yearly members may place their membership on hold for 1–6 months per calendar year. A confirmed return/reactivation date is required at the time of the request.
- Medical / Military Holds
Members may place their membership on hold for 6–12 months due to medical or military leave. Supporting documentation (doctor’s note or proof of active military service) is required.
Requests for extended holds outside of standard policy must be approved in advance by me or Sam. These will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Faculty / Staff Payroll Members
We are unable to place faculty/staff payroll memberships on hold, as deductions are managed directly through payroll. Members will need to cancel their membership and rejoin when they are ready to return. A new payroll deduction form will be required upon reactivation.
Quarterly memberships may only be placed on hold for medical reasons, with supporting documentation required.
Lockers cannot be placed on hold. Members may:
- Continue paying to retain their current locker, or
- Cancel their locker and be assigned a new one upon return (subject to availability)
