Youth Programs

Do you hope your child will develop an early love of physical activity? Our youth programs are designed to provide a fun approach to fitness and staying physically active! Swim Lessons

Our skilled instructors offer private and group Swim Lessons for children as young as 6 months. This is a great way to expose your child to the water as we help them learn to swim.

Youth Ballet Classes

The Ballet Academy in Lincoln Park provides training for serious and recreational dancers. Classes are designed to build confidence, coordination, discipline, concentration, and appreciation for the performing. Children will participate in a year-end recital.

Spring Session - 

March 17 - June 8 (8 weeks, no class on Sunday 3/31 and 5/26, last class Saturday 6/8)

 All classes are held in Studio A

 Sunday session:

  •  3-4 yrs. old: 9:00 - 9:45am
  • 5-6 yrs. old: 9:50 - 10:50am
  • 6-7 yrs. old: 11:00am - 12:00pm

Register for ballet at The Ray Membership Services desk, in the Online Portal, or through The Ray at DePaul app available in the Apple Store or Google Store!

Note about payment: Once you access our online portal, if you are not a Ray member, click the lesson you would like to enroll in, and then create a new account when prompted to log in. If you are already a Member, then login first and click the lesson you would like to enroll in. You may also pay in person at Membership Services.

Sports Skills, Strength, Agility, and Conditioning Training One-on-One

Sports Specific training for children 16 or younger is only available during summer and DePaul academic breaks. Trainers can work with athletes in a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, racquetball, golf, and baseball. Let us know how we can help - either with skills and/or sport-specific strength/agility/conditioning training.

Cancellation Policy: By signing up for a children's program, you are reserving your spot in the class for the whole session. Therefore, refunds for individual sessions will not be granted.
