As outlined in a February Newsline article, DePaul's 2021 online commencement ceremonies will take place on May 22 for the College of Law and June 12 for all other colleges. During the ceremony, each graduate will be recognized with an official slide with their name, degree, major and honors. To personalize their slide even further, graduates are welcome to submit a photo and personal message. Following the ceremonies, the slides can be downloaded to share on social media.

To create your slide:

  • Visit Marching Order to create your password. Do not use your Campus Connect password.
  • Log in to complete the registration process.
  • Upload your information.
  • Return to Marching Order any time until April 27 to update your slide.

Important upcoming deadlines

  • April 19: Record how your name should be pronounced for your slide's voiceover.
  • April 27: Upload a photo and short message to appear on your slide.
  • Messages can be a maximum of 150 characters, and should be messages of gratitude, inspiration or celebration.
  • Photos must be .jpg or .png, and no larger than 5MB.

Questions should be directed to commencement@depaul.edu. As your online ceremony nears, be on the lookout for more information on the commencement website and in Newsline.
