Get ready for Health and Benefits Fair, open enrollment for 2022 benefits

Open enrollment

The annual Health and Benefits Fair will launch on Oct. 18, in advance of the open enrollment period that will take place Oct. 25 through Nov. 5. Open enrollment is a once-a-year opportunity for faculty and staff to evaluate their needs and enroll for benefits. New elections and changes for 2022 benefits must be made by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, and will take effect Jan. 1, 2022.

While the Health and Benefits Fair is usually in-person, the university converted it to a virtual event last year due to COVID-19. The fair will be virtual again this year due to the current state of the pandemic. Thus, the university will be unable to host in-person biometric screenings and flu shots. For information about how to get your flu shot and check in with your doctor about your annual wellness visit, visit the  Human Resources website.

Be on the lookout next week for details about how to access the Health and Benefits Fair.

As a reminder to employees enrolled in the 2021 Wellness Program: You have until Nov. 30 to complete program activities to be eligible to earn a $300 incentive credit toward your 2022 medical plan premiums. For details, see the 2021 Wellness Program Point Schedule. For more details for current participants about the end of the 2021 program, click here.
