DePaul observes the Illinois procedural voting law that allows employees two paid hours off work to vote in person. In recognition of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, DePaul will expand the paid hours for in-person voting in the 2020 election.

The deadline for the 2019-20 staff performance appraisals has been extended to Oct. 1. This decision was made in collaboration with Staff Council and in response to hearing that pushing the due date back to Oct. 1 for one more year would help alleviate some stress given our current situation.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic shifted the majority of our university operations to remote work, some areas of DePaul have been experiencing a very high or normal volume of work while others have experienced a reduction in work. Eligible DePaul faculty and staff can take advantage of the summer months to earn points in the Healthy Vincent’s Wellness Program. The wellness program is part of an ongoing initiative to promote the health, safety and productivity of DePaul’s faculty and staff. All eligible employees can earn a $300 incentive for accumulating 100 points through participation in healthy activities through Oct. 31, 2019.
