Open enrollment for 2022 has begun

Open enrollment

Benefit-eligible employees have two weeks to make any changes to their DePaul benefits. Benefits elections will be made through BlueSky. New elections and changes for 2022 benefits must be made by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, and will take effect Jan. 1.

Open enrollment is a once-a-year opportunity for eligible employees to evaluate their needs and enroll or make changes to benefits. If you do not want to make changes, you only need to re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Accounts, if applicable. All other benefits in which you are currently enrolled will remain active.

Comprehensive information regarding DePaul's 2022 open enrollment can be found on the Human Resources website. Other resources available to support your 2022 benefits decision-making include:

  • Benefits Open Enrollment Quick Guide covers the when, how and what of modifying or enrolling in benefits at DePaul.
  • ALEX, DePaul's virtual benefits “counselor." This online tool helps you to review options so that you get the most out of your benefits and use your money wisely. Please note, ALEX helps you choose benefits but doesn't make any enrollment changes for you. You will still need to make your benefits elections through BlueSky.
  • Virtual Health and Benefits Fair offers a self-guided virtual experience that takes you through rooms with tables that contain information from each of our vendors/partners.

If you have questions, you can contact the Benefits Team at hrbenefits@depaul.edu or (312) 362-8500.
