Enter goals for 2022-23 staff performance appraisal period

2022-23 goals

If you are a staff employee at DePaul, have you entered your performance goals for the 2022-23 staff performance appraisal period?

Goals that have been agreed-upon by you and your manager can now be entered into BlueSky under the “Goals” section within the “Career and Performance" tile. You can find instructions here, or use the BlueSky Help Tool:

  • After you log into BlueSky, you will see a small red rectangular icon on the right side of your BlueSky homepage.
  • Click on the icon and type in “Enter Goals.”
  • The BlueSky Help tool will then offer pop ups to guide you through the system to help you complete your task.
As a reminder, DePaul staff employees are encouraged to have three to five performance goals each year that align with the team, department and university goals. Defining performance goals helps to ground our work efforts as priorities shift, the unexpected happens and roadblocks pop up. Goals also help illustrate the connection to how your day-to-day efforts are contributing to something bigger.

The timeframe for the annual performance goals coincides with the end of the fiscal year for the university. Our current performance appraisal period began on July 1, 2022, and ends on June 30, 2023; documentation will be due to Human Resources by Sept. 1, 2023.

As always, the Workplace Learning and Performance team is here to help. Contact us at training@depaul.edu or (312) 362-8342.

Please note the performance appraisal is different for student employees. For more information about student employee performance appraisal, please contact the Office of Student Employment at (312) 362-5599 or visit the Office of Student Employment website.
