Training course now available for DePaul’s phased return to campus

COVID-19 training
It is important that all members of the DePaul community are familiar with the basics of COVID-19, as well as the current safety protocols implemented at the university. To this end, DePaul has created an interactive online training course.

All members of the DePaul community—faculty, staff and students—are required to complete this training. The requirement includes those who have already been on campus as well as those who do not currently have plans to return to campus. The information included in this training is critical for everyone because our priority is to promote the health and safety of the DePaul community as well as the communities in which our students and employees live.

The 20-min. online training covers a variety of topics such as:

  • What is COVID-19 and how does it spread?
  • Maintaining a low-density campus.
  • How to increase safety when you return to campus.
  • How to self-screen to make sure you're ready to come back.
  • Self-care, university resources and ideas to help you lower your risk.
  • Where to go with questions or concerns.

The training must be completed prior to the start of classes.

  • College of Law – completion date: Friday, Aug. 21, 2020
  • All other colleges and departments – completion date: Friday, Sept. 4, 2020

If you have any questions or issues with the online training, please contact training@depaul.edu.

For more information, guidance and resources on the university's COVID-19 efforts, regularly visit DePaul's Fall 2020 website.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this training and for all of the other ways that you are taking care of yourselves, each other and DePaul.
