June Commencement Ticket Distribution
DPU_Inspired Grads

When DePaul moved commencement to Wintrust Arena, the university realized that benefits of Wintrust's city location and new amenities would also require some adjustments to the way we stage commencement, including instituting a ticketing system. Tickets are required for all the commencement ceremonies held at the Wintrust Arena, and are general admission on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students have two opportunities to pick up tickets: Early Ticket Pickup on April 15-16, and the Commencement Kick Off Event on June 5-6 or 10-11. Students are encouraged to attend one of these events to ensure they receive their tickets in advance of commencement weekend. Please note, cap and gown pick up is exclusively at the Commencement Kick Off Event.

Tickets are required for anyone sitting in a seat. All children three feet and taller must have a ticket (as enforced by the Wintrust Arena). If children are sitting in someone's lap, they do not need a ticket. Graduating students do not need a ticket. Once you have your tickets, please keep close track of them. Students who lose their tickets will not be given replacements.

Students are encouraged to share excess tickets with fellow classmates. However, students may not sell such tickets in an attempt to profit from this celebratory event.

A live webcast of all ceremonies will be available at this website beginning at the starting time for each ceremony for those who are unable to attend.

Ticket Lottery

You now have the opportunity to enter a The Ticket Lottery via email, for the chance to receive additional tickets for your commencement ceremony. The lottery will close at 5 p.m. on April 26. You will be allowed one entry. (Duplicate entries will be removed.)

The Office of Academic Events will send all students who enter the lottery an email from by early May notifying them whether they will receive additional tickets and, if so, how to obtain them.

You can pick up your tickets at one of these locations:
