June Ceremonies

DePaul University will hosted its annual commencement ceremonies the weekend of June 10-11, 2023 at the Wintrust Arena​. For those unable to attend commencement in person, a livestream​ will be available.

Students completing their degree requirements Fall 2022 through Summer 2023 may be  eligible to participate in commencement. 

Graduates must RSVP to the ceremony in Campus Connect and purchase regalia by ​April 26, 2023. Refer to the Graduate Checklist page for information on the RSVP process.

Ticket Information

All guests are required to have a physical ticket to enter Wintrust Arena. Tickets are reserved by completing the RSVP to the ceremony through Campus Connect. For more information about guest tickets as well as information about the Guest Ticket Lottery, please visit the Tic​kets page.

Regalia Information

Regalia must be purchased through Herff Jones. The ordering site will be available on February 1. The deadline to purchase your cap and gown is April 26, 2023. More information about regalia ordering, cost, and appearance can be found on the Cap and Gown​ page.​ Graduates have the option to have their regalia shipped home (for a fee) or to campus (for free). Regalia ordered with the ship-to-campus option must be picked up at the Commencement Pickup event​. Check the Pickup page and below for dates and locations for your college.

At DePaul's Commencement Pickup event, graduates will pick up their guest tickers, reader card, and cap and gown (if the ship-to-campus option was chosen upon ordering). Attending both days is not necessary. Graduates should anticipate being at the event for about 30 minutes. Many important university partners will also be on hand, including:
  • College representatives
  • Alumni Relations
  • Career Services
  • GradImages, to allow graduates to take pictures in their regalia.


*Participating in the commencement ceremony is optional and does not equate to degree completion. It is a student's responsibility to review their Degree Progress Report to ensure they are on track to complete the requirements and verify their completion term. Students may apply for degree conferral in Campus Connect; please be aware that submitting an online application does not guarantee a degree will be granted from DePaul University. Additionally, regardless of participation at commencement, students will not receive a diploma until all outstanding financial obligations have been fulfilled. Students should contact their Academic Advisors and DePaul Central with questions.
