  3. RSVP  to participate in the June Ceremonies and reserve guest tickets
  4. The RSVP in Campus Connect will open in Winter Quarter.  The RSVP will reserve your six (6) guest tickets, which are picked up at Commencement Pickup. Information about commencement will be sent by the university and by your college coordinator(s) below:

  5. Order your cap and gown
    • Regalia ordering will begin in Winter Quarter. Graduates will have the option to ship regalia home or pick up items at the Commencement Pickup event. View the Cap and Gown page for more details.
  6. Attend Commencement Pickup
    • Commencement Pickup is the distribution of caps and gowns (if the campus pickup option was selected), guest tickets, reader card, and other important materials you will need for the day of your commencement ceremony.  Visit the Commencement Pickup page for more details.
  7. Check the Commencement ceremonies schedule and find your college.
    • Don't forget to share this information with your guests.

Participating in the commencement ceremony is optional and does not equate to degree completion. It is a student's responsibility to review their Degree Progress Report to ensure they are on track to complete the requirements and verify their completion term. Students may apply for degree conferral in Campus Connect; please be aware that submitting an online application does not guarantee a degree will be granted from DePaul University. Additionally, regardless of participation at commencement, students will not receive a diploma until all outstanding financial obligations have been fulfilled. Students should contact their Academic Advisors and DePaul Central with questions.
