RSVP TO COMMENCEMENT – Update for this year!
All graduates who wish to attend their commencement ceremony must RSVP in Campus Connect by the April 30th deadline. New this year, graduating students can RSVP to the ceremony now—a quarter early!

To RSVP, please follow this path: Student Homepage > Advising, Progress and Graduation > RSVP for Commencement. Please note that the RSVP button will only be visible after you have applied for degree conferral.

CLAIM YOUR TICKETS
DePaul provides each graduating student five free general admission tickets. By RSVP’ing to the ceremony in Campus Connect, you are reserving your five guest tickets. Graduates do not need a ticket for commencement. More information about tickets, distribution, and the lottery for additional tickets will be shared during the winter quarter via email, Newsline, and the commencement website

PURCHASE YOUR REGALIA – Update for this year!
To participate in your commencement ceremony, a cap and gown purchased from Herff Jones is required. Bachelor's degree regalia includes a cap, gown, tassel, and red stole. Master's and doctoral degree regalia includes a cap, gown, tassel, and hood.

New this year, students are able to begin purchasing regalia a quarter early! Now graduating students—especially those graduating in Autumn and Winter Quarters—don’t have to wait until Spring to receive their regalia for graduation photos.

Also new this year: Students who purchase their regalia by January 15th will have the option of picking up their regalia, without having to pay for shipping, at the new Grad Fair at the end of February.

GRAD FAIR – New this year!
We are also excited to announce that we will be hosting a Grad Fair on February 24th in the Lincoln Park Student Center.  Graduating students are invited to attend this special event featuring regalia, alumni gear, vendors, and raffles! Various DePaul offices will also be on hand to discuss alumni benefits, career assistance, and graduate programs.

Students who purchase regalia by January 15th will have the option of picking theirs up at the Grad Fair for no additional charge.

WHAT’S NEXT?
As your graduation approaches, be on the lookout for more important information. In the coming months, we will share more details about the ceremonies, ticketing, regalia ordering, the new Grad Fair and Spring Commencement Pickup events, and the student speaker application via email, Newsline, and the commencement website.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, please reach out to yourcollege's commencement coordinator or email commencement@depaul.edu.

Again, congratulations from all of us at DePaul!

Sincerely,
The Office of University Events

*Participating in the commencement ceremony is optional and does not equate to degree completion. It is a student's responsibility to review their Degree Progress Report to ensure they are on track to complete the requirements and verify their completion term. Students may apply for degree conferral in Campus Connect; please be aware that submitting an online application does not guarantee a degree will be granted from DePaul University. Additionally, regardless of participation at commencement, students will not receive a diploma until all outstanding financial obligations have been fulfilled. Students should contact their Academic Advisors and DePaul Central with questions.
