Dear College of Law Class of 2026,
On behalf of the entire DePaul community, congratulations! We are excited to celebrate your many achievements at the College of Law commencement ceremony at The Chicago Theatre and via livestream on Sunday, May 24 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
As a run-up to the ceremony, please read the following important reminders and instructions closely.
DIGITAL TICKETS
All graduates and their guests are required to have a general admission e-ticket. Tickets have been distributed and should appear in your MSG account. Attached is a walkthrough for accessing and transferring your tickets. It is critical that you review the attached instructions ahead of the ceremony to ensure you and your guests have access to the tickets.
If you cannot access your tickets, contact us at commencement@depaul.edu with the subject line “Law Tickets.”
REGALIA
If you chose the campus pickup option for your regalia, it will be available at the Barnes & Noble bookstore on the first floor of the DePaul Center, next week, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
If you missed the deadline to purchase your regalia through Herff Jones, you can purchase a set at the bookstore during this time.
COMMENCEMENT PICKUP
Plan to attend College of Law Commencement Pickup on Wednesday, May 20, anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the DePaul Center, 11th Floor, Gallery Lounge. No appointment is needed, but plan to spend about 10-20 minutes at the event. At Commencement Pickup, you will:
- Visit the College of Law table to pick up your reader card, which is the card you will use to cross the stage.
- Check in with the Law Career Services and Alumni Relations Offices.
- Stop by the Mission & Ministry table to sign a Graduation Pledge for Vincentian Social Justice and receive a pin to wear on your regalia.
- Have your portrait taken in your regalia with GradImages. This is optional. Important: Remember to bring your regalia with you!
- Troubleshoot ticketing issues at the University Events table.
- Pick up your legacy hooder card and instructions, if applicable, also at the University Events table.
Please note that your regalia will only be available for pickup and/or purchase in the Barnes & Noble bookstore, NOT at the Commencement Pickup event.
If you are unable to attend, someone can pick up your items on your behalf. They will need an email from you granting them permission to collect your things, along with your DePaul ID number, and either your email address or your phone number.
WHAT’S NEXT?
On Monday, you will receive an email regarding ceremony logistics, which will include graduate and guest arrival and entrances, prohibited items, and stage-crossing information.
Sincerely,
Office of University Events DePaul University
