A limited number of cap and gown packages will be available at the Graduation Celebration for purchase, on a first come first serve basis. On-site purchase is not guaranteed; students do not have to wear regalia to participate in the celebration activities.

DePaul is closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and city of Chicago’s guidelines to ensure every COVID-19 precaution is taken to give the Class of 2021 a safe opportunity to celebrate their upcoming graduation.
To help ensure the safety and health of the DePaul community, graduates and their guests are required to comply with the following items:
Review Chicago’s Emergency Travel Order: If you will be traveling from another state or traveled out-of-state recently, check the Chicago Emergency Travel Order prior to your arrival. Traveling to and from certain states with a significant spread of COVID-19 will require a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 72 hours prior to arrival in Chicago or a 10-day quarantine or be fully vaccinated, as defined as two weeks after the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine or two weeks after one dose of a single-dose vaccine and not have symptoms and maintain strict masking and social distancing. The order is updated every other Tuesday.
Limit of two guests per graduate: Due to the city of Chicago’s COVID-19 guidelines, each graduate is only allowed to bring two guests into the event. There will be no exceptions.
Complete the #CampusClear questionnaire: Before coming on campus, each graduate and their two guests will be required to complete a short survey in the #CampusClear app to help self-screen of symptoms of COVID-19. You will be asked to show your screening confirmation during check-in. For more information, visit Newsline.
Wear a mask at all times: Everyone is required to wear a mask over their nose and mouth at all times while on DePaul grounds. For more information, visit the CDC’s Guide to Masks.
Practice physical distancing: Remain at least 6 feet away from others who aren’t in your group while on campus.
Wash or sanitize your hands often: For more information, please visit the CDC’s When and How to Wash Your Hands.
Due to COVID-19 protocol, access to DePaul’s buildings will be limited to DePaul students with a DePaul ID.
