All on-campus interviews are being converted to virtual interviews, or are being rescheduled depending on employer preference.

Scheduling on-campus interviews (OCI) at DePaul gives your organization the opportunity to interview a diverse pool of students, with the added bonus of building your campus brand. All interviews are scheduled through Handshake , which eliminates the headache of scheduling multiple interviews. Through this system, you can electronically review resumes and communicate with candidates who possess the qualifications and skills that you’re looking for. You'll also have our Employer Engagement team on-site to assist in a seamless interview process.

Schedule an Interview Day

The first step to scheduling an interview day at DePaul is creating a Handshake account and posting the position you’d like to interview students for. Interviews are scheduled in our Loop Campus interview suites. Step-by-step instructions for requesting an interview day are available on Handshake. If you have questions or would like to inquire about availability, please email recruitstudents@depaul.edu.

You have three interview season options for hosting your interview. We do not typically schedule interviews over the summer due to limited student availability.

  • Fall: September - November
  • Winter: January - March
  • Spring: April -May

  • We recommend a Preselect schedule for all employers who want to collect applications, manage candidates, and schedule interview times through Handshake
  • We recommend a Room Only schedule for all employers who just want to reserve a space but manage all applicant and candidate processes on their own through a separate system from Handshake

  • If the employer’s schedule is Room Only, no, but it is still recommended
