Get Free Business and Business Casual Attire with the Career Closet

Looking for that perfect outfit for the Career Fair? Or maybe you're starting a new job, or you’ve got an interview coming up and you need to dress to impress. The Career Closet has you covered! There are locations in both the Loop and Lincoln Park stocked with a variety of new and gently worn business professional clothing - everything you need for job, internship or interview. All items are free of charge  and for students to keep.

Loop Location

Hours: Weekdays, 11am–4pm
Appointments: Make an appointment to access the Loop Career Closet on Handshake​, or call or stop into the Career Center and have our Front Desk assist you in making one. Clothing is limited to 3 items per student per quarter and must be checked out with the Front Desk before leaving the Career Center.​

The Lincoln Park Career Closet is part of DePaul's Basic Needs Hub, along with the Rosalie Rendu Student Food Pantry. Stop in to browse the selection of food, resources and professional attire.  ​​​​

In order for students to access The Basic Needs Hub for the current academic year, they need to complete the registration form. The form is intended for enrolled DePaul students facing financial hardship and/or food insecurity. Please answer the questions honestly and understand that your responses will neither qualify nor disqualify you from receiving access to The Basic Needs Hub locations. 


Donations

Donations for Pantry and Career Closet
Thank you for your interest in donating to the Career Closet. If you have a large or bulk clothing donation, please reach out to the Career Center, so we can ensure we have the proper space and resources to intake and store the items. For large food or other goods donations, reach out to the Basic Needs Hub​. Drop-off donations are accepted at the Lincoln Park / Rendu Student Pantry; a donation box is located outside the pantry in the Student Center, Room 107. In the Loop, please bring items to the Career Center in DPC 9500.
