About Lori Holland

Lori Holland, an alumna of DePaul University, was a constant champion of improving the prevalence and status of women in the fields of finance and investment management. After retiring as the managing director of investment firm Neuberger Berman, Holland joined DePaul's Board of Trustees in 2011, having served on the university's Finance Advisory Board since 2002. Her service to the university culminated in her assuming the role of Chair of the Board of Trustees, a role that she held with pride until her untimely death in 2020.

In honor of Lori's dedication to both DePaul and the success of women in the world of finance, her husband, Bob Holland, established the Lori Holland Initiative for Women in 2023.

“DePaul students don't just talk about changing the world—they take action through community service, social advocacy and creative problem solving. I am proud to support them and to support DePaul."
