Generative AI in Higher Education Lesson Plan

This pre-packaged 30-minute lesson plan is designed to help you begin a conversation about AI with your students. The lesson, developed by DePaul University Senior Instructional Designer Jes Klass, is divided into the following parts:

1. Lecture notes: What is Generative AI? 
   
2. Lecture notes: Why did our relationship with AI change drastically in late 2022? 
   
3. Small group activity: How can we work with AI to make our lives easier? (5 minutes)
