​​Help us support the career development needs of DePaul students

The Career Center's vision is to foster a university-wide culture where every student has access to high impact career readiness practices, supported not only by the Career Center but also by faculty, staff, and student employee managers. To advance this vision, we have launched the NEW Career Champions Program for faculty and staff interested in supporting DePaul students' career readiness. Together, we can help students understand how their academic experiences and choices align with major and career decisions as well as support them in developing key skills and meaningful connections. By partnering, we can ensure students leave our institution with the skills, connections, and confidence to pursue their professional passions in today's dynamic workplace.

As a Career Champion, there are a variety of ways to get involved. Here is a list of the ways you can support our students based on your role at DePaul:

Faculty

• Integrate career readiness in your curriculum
• Refer students to our wide array of in-person, virtual and drop-in support services
• Familiarize your students with Handshake and create your own faculty account
  

Staff

• Request a customized workshop or presentation for a co-curricular unit or program
• Volunteer at a Career Center event
• Refer students to our wide array of in-person, virtual and drop-in support services
  

Student Employee Manager

• Request a customized workshop or presentation for your student employees
• Participate in OSE's GROW (Guided Reflections on Work) program
  
• Refer students to our wide array of in-person, virtual and drop-in support services
