About DXA

The Digital Experience and Analysis (DXA) team at DePaul is an area of University Marketing and Communications that is tasked with creating, maintaining and developing DePaul's websites in partnership with the Development team in Information Services (IS).

DXA oversees the content, design, branding, information architecture, development and user experience of depaul.edu, as well as all of the colleges, schools, offices and other entities with a web presence at DePaul. Approaching sites from a marketing perspective, DXA works to maintain consistency standards across all of DePaul's communications on the web.

Our Goals

Readable. Usable. Accessible.

We strive to make the best and most functional editing experience for university website editors by giving them easy to use tools to create a seamless end result. DePaul's websites serve not only as marketing tools to reach prospective students, but also as a place to surface useful information for current students and the university community.

In our partnerships with IS's Development and Media Production & Training teams, we strive to make our SharePoint package simple and functional, while also maintaining the standards set across all university web platforms.

Services We Provide

Migration. Consultation. Support.

Our main task over the last few years has been migrating all of DePaul websites into the SharePoint Responsive package. In addition to functionality, design and migration services, we provide support to university web editors by answering questions, consulting on content strategy and marketing initiatives, and coordinating with IS to fix issues and meet requirements. We mainly communicate with editors through the Help Desk, which also allow us to coordinate directly with IS.

Our work is never truly "done" — we are here to work with editors to help them complete their web-based goals while maintaining DePaul branding and staying on-par with the latest industry standards.
