It is with sadness we have learned of the death of Robert Lee Easter, Jr., the husband of the School of Continuing and Professional Studies' Leyfane Thomas. Easter passed away on Jan. 4.

It is with sadness that we have learned of the death of Wallace “Wally" Allen Richardson, the father of Sarah Richardson of Biological Sciences in the College of Science and Health.
Lori Holland, the chair for DePaul University's Board of Trustees, died on Nov. 26 at the age of 63. A DePaul alumna, Holland made it a personal commitment to give future generations of students the opportunity to pursue a higher education.
Leonard Hugh McCain, father-in-law of the Irish Studies Program's Mary McCain, died from complications of COVID-19 on Oct. 12 in Brighton, Colorado. He was 91.

Halaska. He died on Oct. 22 at the age of
65 surrounded by his family.
Tyneka Harris Coronado, a Double Demon and project leader in Information Services, and her husband, David Coronado, also a Double Demon, welcomed a son, Mateo, on Sept. 28.

death of Dmitry Paperno, retired professor in the School of Music. He passed
away on Oct. 12 at the age of 91, and is survived by his wife, two daughters,
and four grandchildren.
It is with sadness that we share the news Lorraine A. Trzaska, mother of Janet Trzaska, director of Foundations Relations in Advancement, passed away at 94. She died peacefully in Palm Desert, Calif., on Sept. 23.
It is with sadness that we have learned of the death of Cathy R. May, 58, long-time professor of the Department of Political Science. Cathy first came to DePaul as an undergraduate student in the 1980s. She subsequently earned her Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and returned to DePaul's Department of Political Science where she taught for more than 20 years.
It is with sadness that we have learned of the death of Thomas Anthony LoSasso, the father of Professor Anthony T. LoSasso of the Departement of Economics. He passed away peacefully at age 83 in his home on Sept. 19 surrounded by his family.
It is with sadness we have learned of the death of Richard Allen Tindall, the brother of Tina Tindall of the Office of Financial Aid. Tindall died on Aug. 28.
It is with sadness we have learned of the death of Thomas David Walters, father-in-law of Bala Chaudhary, an assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Studies. He passed away at home on Aug. 14 at the age of 82 due to cancer.
Katie Carelle, director of advertising and digital media in University Marketing and Communications, and her husband, Ryan, welcomed a daughter, Lily Marie, on Sept. 7.
