​It is with sadness that we share the news Lorraine A. Trzaska, mother of Janet Trzaska, director of Foundations Relations in Advancement, passed away at 94. She died peacefully in Palm Desert, Calif., on Sept. 23. ​

In memoriam: Cathy R. May, long-time professor of the Department of Political Science

​It is with sadness that we have learned of the death of Cathy R. May, 58, long-time professor of the Department of Political Science. Cathy first came to DePaul as an undergraduate student in the 1980s. She subsequently earned her Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and returned to DePaul's Department of Political Science where she taught for more than 20 years.​

It is with sadness we have learned of the death of Thomas David Walters, father-in-law of Bala Chaudhary, an assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Studies. He passed away at home on Aug. 14 at the age of 82 due to cancer.​​​​

In memoriam: Thomas Anthony LoSasso, father of Department of Economics' Anthony LoSasso

​It is with sadness that we have learned of the death of Thomas Anthony LoSasso, the father of Professor Anthony T. LoSasso of the Departement of Economics. He passed away peacefully at age 83 in his home on Sept. 19 surrounded by his family.
