VoiceThread Overview

VoiceThread is an interactive, collaborative, web-based tool that that allows user to communicate through images, audio recordings, videos, and text. Through VoiceThread, users can set up a discussion board or have students create presentations to submit through VoiceThread as part of an assignment. Users can add text, audio, or video comments to a VoiceThread, so students can ask questions on their peers' presentations or respond to discussion prompts.

Note: Due to issues with accessibility, at this time VoiceThread is not recommended for lectures. See the Panopto guides for information on a tool that can be used to record lectures.
