The Question Library in D2L is a repository for quiz questions. It can be used not only store quiz questions, but also to randomly add questions or subsets of questions to a quiz.
As a best practice, it is recommended to create a section in the Question Library, then add quiz questions to this section. This will make it easier to select the questions to add to a quiz, especially if the questions will be randomized. (See Randomizing Quizzes for more information.)
There are 12 question types in D2L (multiple-choice, written response, etc.), and the process for building each question type is slightly different. This section provides an overview of the process, but detailed, step-by-step instructions for each question type can be found on the
D2L Resource Center website.
Note: To preview a question, select
Preview at the bottom of the page.
Once questions have been added to the Question Library, quizzes can be created with randomized questions. View
Randomizing Quizzes for more information.
