Reordering and Deleting Modules and Topics in D2L's Content Area

You can reorder modules and topics in the Content area, and you can also move one module into another one (in this case, it becomes a submodule.) In addition, you can move topics from one module into another one.

Reorder Modules

Reordering modules in the Content
  1. Hover your cursor over the three horizontal gray bars to the left of the module's name in the Table of Contents. Your cursor will change to an icon with four arrows, which indicates that you can drag and drop the module with your mouse.
  2. Hold down your left mouse button and drag the module up or down the Table of Contents to its new location, which will be indicated in one of two ways:
    • A dark gray lineĀ  appears: This indicates where the module will be placed in the Table of Contents.
    • A module turns orange: This indicates that the module you are moving will be placed inside of this module. (It becomes a submodule.)
  3. Release your mouse button to drop the module in its new location.
