Launch Panopto Capture
Panopto Capture allows videos to be recorded within a browser. Capture can be launched in two ways:
Note: Mac users will need to provide additional permissions for Capture to record the screen. See the
guide from Panopto for details.
Launch Panopto Capture from a Content module
- Navigate to Content, and choose the module where the video is to be placed.
- Select
Add Existing Activities, and choose
Add a Video. A popup opens.
- Select Record [A.]
- Select Launch Capture [B].
- Capture will open in a new browser tab.
Launch Panopto Capture from the Edit Course menu
- Select
Edit Course from the course navigation bar.
- Select
Panopto. A separate window will open.
- Select
Create [A]. A popup will open.
- Select
Panopto Capture [B].
- Panopto Capture will open in a new tab within the browser.
